Do you ever wonder what they do with old slot machines when they are no longer being used in casino? I do. I remember when I use to play slots on those older slot machines with the big leavers oh so many years ago. Nowadays most of the new age video slots I play are computerized and don't require you to do much more than touch a button in front. I don't mind the change though since there are so many more different and exciting slots games to choose from thanks to technology. I just wonder what they do with the old ones? Do they go to the great casino in the sky to rest in peace? Or maybe there is an old graveyard the middle of the desert where they are sent to like metal grave yards used for old airplanes that are no longer in service? Maybe that is why there are so many casinos in Nevada - since it isn't far to take the old slot machines.

And now after the horrible devastation from Hurricane Katrina I wonder what will happen to all those slot machines that were damaged beyond repair from the flooding in New Orleans? I heard they have one of the biggest casinos in the US so I bet they had thousands of slot machines that were ruined from the hurricane. What will they do with all those old machines I wonder? I think it would be cool to have one of those older machines on display in my games room so I could play slots whenever I wanted. However I imagine someone will get a hold of a bunch of those ruined in New Orleans and will put them up on Ebay and will make a million bucks selling hurricane souvenirs.
